Hive-on-Tez User Interface

This section describes how to install, configure, manage, and start the Hive-on-Tez user interface.

NOTE

ATSv2 is incompatible with the Tez UI. ATSv2 should not be installed across the cluster nodes if you are enabling the Tez UI by configuring ATSv1 or ATSv1.5.

WARNING

The Hive-on-Tez user interface supports RM HA only starting from the 1803 release (EEP 4.1.1 and EEP-5.0.0).
