Downloading an Object from a Bucket

Download an object from a bucket.

Prerequisites

You must have the permission to download an object from a bucket.

About this task

You can download one or more objects that are stored on a bucket. You can download only one object at a time.

Follow the steps given below to download an object from the bucket.

Procedure

Log on to the Data Fabric UI.
Click the All resources icon on the left pane, click the table view icon.
Select the Resource details check box.
In the tabular list of fabrics, click the down arrow for the fabric that contains the bucket from which you wish to download the object(file).
Click the bucket name seen under Resource Name.
Click the ellipsis seen under Actions for the object row to download on the Objects tab.
Click the Download option.

Results

The object is downloaded to the default download folder on your machine or to the folder that you select. The destination folder for the object depends on your web browser settings.
