Editing a Volume

Edit accountable entity, volume access for accountable entity and volume hard quota.

Prerequisites

You must have the permission to edit the volume.

About this task

You can edit details such as hard quota, read/write access and accountable entity, when you edit a volume via the Data Fabric UI.

Follow the steps given below to edit volume properties.

Procedure

Log on to the Data Fabric UI.
Click the All resources icon on the left pane, click the table view icon.
Select the Resource details check box.
Expand the resources for the fabric containing the volume to edit.
Click the volume name seen under Resource Name.
Navigate to Settings tab for the volume.
Click the pencil/Edit icon next to Properties to edit the accountable entity and/or volume access as read or read/write. Click Save. This is an optional step.
Click the pencil/Edit icon next to Quota to edit the hard quota for the volume. This is an optional step.
Click Save.

Results

The volume is edited successfully.
