Regardless of whether the HPE Data Fabric Database table is used for binary files or JSON documents, the same types of commands are used with slightly different parameter options. HPE Data Fabric Database administration is associated with tables, columns and column families, and table regions.

Viewing Column Families

View column families created on a table.

About this task

You can view column families from the Data Fabric UI.

Use the following steps to view column families.

Procedure

Log on to the Data Fabric UI.
Click the All resources icon on the left pane, click the table view icon.
Select the Resource details check box.
In the tabular list of fabrics, click the down arrow for the fabric that contains the table.
Click the name of the table for which you want to view column families.
The table Overview screen opens.
Click the Column families tab.

Results

You can now view the list of column families.
