Known Issues
- Due to Drill version changes (3-digit to 4-digit), you cannot upgrade from Drill in
EEP 7.0.0 (Drill 1.16.1) to Drill in
EEP 7.0.1 (Drill 1.16.1.5) or later. You
must perform a new installation of Drill. Alternatively, if you are running Drill on
CentOS or RHEL, you can issue the following command as a workaround to upgrade Drill:
rpm -Uv --<old-package> <path/to/packages>/*.rpm
See Upgrading Drill.
Limitations
- The hive storage plugin in Drill does not support reading the parquet
timestamp
type with theint64
logical type.
