Regardless of whether the HPE Data Fabric Database table is used for binary files or JSON documents, the same types of commands are used with slightly different parameter options. HPE Data Fabric Database administration is associated with tables, columns and column families, and table regions.

Viewing the Fabric Service Status

View status of various services running on a fabric.

Prerequisites

You must have permissions to access and view the fabric details.

About this task

A fabric functions as a set of core services and monitoring services that run in the background. You can view the status of the services on the Data Fabric UI to determine if the services are running or they have stopped. This can be useful in preliminary troubleshooting of the fabric operation.

Use the following steps to view fabric service status.

Procedure

Log on to the Data Fabric UI
Click the All resources icon on the left pane.
Click the fabric name under the Resource Name column.
Navigate to the Services tab for the fabric.

Results

The details about the various fabric-related services along with the status of each service is visible on the Services tab.

NOTE

To stop, restart a service or an EEP service, you can navigate to the Managed Control System(MCS) from the Data Fabric UI. Click MCS application on the top right corner of the Services tab to open the Managed Control System in a new browser tab.
