Troubleshooting Object Copier Hub (OCH)
Troubleshooting tips for Object Copier Hub
Copy operation times out or fails
If /opt/mapr/logs/och.log contains a time-out entry for the copy
operation using the Object Copier Hub, check the time on both the source and
destination nodes (whether AWS or Data Fabric). If the time is not in sync, the
source and destination nodes must be time-synced.
Run the following command to set the time on the source and destination nodes to the time of other machine.
sudo date -s "$(ssh user@<other-machine-ip> 'date-Ins')"
Note: In case copy is failing with timeout issues, run this command to sync the time on both machines.
TLS handshake issues
During the copy operation if you encounter TLS handshake error, verify the proxy settings in mapr-och.service file. Check if these variables have been correctly set.
