Renaming a Volume

Rename a volume.

Prerequisites

You must have the permission to rename a volume.

About this task

You can rename a volume associated with a fabric, via the Data Fabric UI. You can rename only one volume at a time.

Follow the steps given below to rename a volume.

Procedure

Log on to the Data Fabric UI.
Select Fabric user option from the dropdown on the Home page.
Click the Table view icon on the Resources card. In the tabular list of fabrics, click the down arrow for the fabric that contains the volume to rename.
Click the volume name seen under Resource Name.
Click the ellipsis under Actions for the volume.
Click the Rename option.
Enter the new name for the volume and click Save.

Results

The volume is renamed successfully.
