MinIO Client (mc) Commands

Lists mc commands that you can use to perform operations, such as creating and editing buckets and accounts in HPE Data Fabric Object Store.

HPE Data Fabric Object Store provides MinIO client commands that you run from /opt/mapr/bin/, as shown in the following example:

/opt/mapr/bin/mc ls --recursive salesobject -json

//Lists all buckets recursively from the Object Store deployment with alias salesobject.

TIP

A user cannot run the mc commands until the user's access to the mc commands is enabled, as described in Enabling the HPE Data Fabric Object Store.
The following mc commands operate on delete markers or versioned objects when used with the --versions or --version-id option:
- mc cp
- mc ls
- mc rm
