Removing Disks Using mrconfig
About this task
CAUTION
 The mrconfig command must be run under the
                    supervision of HPE support. Suppose one of three disks in a storage pool has failed, and the storage pool has gone offline.
To remove a disk with mrconfig disk remove:
Procedure
- Ensure that the data on the surviving disks is backed up/replicated.
 - 
                Remove the failed disk from the node's disktab with the 
mrconfig disk removecommand. - Physically remove the failed disk.
 - Physically attach the replacement disk.
 - 
                Run the 
mrconfig disk initcommand on the replacement disk and on the other two disks that were in the disk group. - 
                Run the 
mrconfig disk loadcommand on each of the three disks. - 
                Use the 
mrconfig dg createcommand to create a new disk group with the three disks. - 
                Use the 
mrconfig sp makecommand to create a storage pool on the new disk group.
