HPE Data Fabric Database administration is associated with tables, columns and column families, and table regions.

Enabling Object Lifecycle Rule

On the Data Fabric UI, enable an existing object lifecycle rule that has been created for non-versioned and versioned objects contained in a bucket.

Prerequisites

The object lifecycle rule to enable must be in the disabled state.

About this task

Follow the steps given below to enable a disabled object lifecycle rule by using the Data Fabric UI.

Procedure

Log on to the Data Fabric UI.
Click the All resources icon on the left pane, click the table view icon.
Select the Resource details check box.
In the tabular list of fabrics, click the down arrow for the fabric that contains the bucket on which you wish to configure object life cycle rule or rules.
Click the bucket name seen under Resource Name.
Click the Management tab.
For the object lifecycle rule to edit, click the ellipsis () in the Actions column, and then click Enable.

Results

The object lifecycle rule is enabled.
