Removing the Air-gapped Repository

Describes how to remove an existing air-gapped repository.

About this task

NOTE
When you remove an air-gapped repository, only the serving container is deleted. The persistent data directory, publications, and caches are preserved. start cannot recreate the removed container.

For an ordinary synchronization retry, use the existing running container and update the air-gapped repository.

You can remove the air-gapped repository when you do not want the air-gapped repository. The removal does not automatically remove all data associated with the air-gapped repository. To purge or permanently remove all repository-related data, see Purging Air-gapped Repository Data.
