Restarting a Fabric

Describes how to restart a fabric by using the Data Fabric UI.

About this task

When there are changes in the fabric configuration, you would need to restart the fabric.

You can restart a fabric that is a part of your global namespace by logging in to the same fabric or another fabric in the global namespace.

It is a good idea to close the browser after logging out.

The fabric restarts in a few minutes' time. To access the restarted fabric, you must re-login to the Data Fabric UI after the fabric restart.

IMPORTANT
CRUD operations are disallowed on a fabric when the fabric is in the process of restarting. Do not perform any CRUD operations on a fabric before the fabric restarts successfully.
