Restarting Nodes

Restart a node from the Data Fabric UI.

About this task

You can restart a node on an on-premise fabric or a cloud-based fabric when there is a change in the configuration, and the node requires a restart due to the configuration changes.

When you restart a node, it is advisable not to carry out any other CRUD operation on the fabric. Performing any other CRUD operation on a fabric during a node restart would have unexpected outcomes.

Only one node from a fabric can be restarted at a time.

Similarly, you cannot restart a node when another CRUD operation is running on a fabric.

Follow the steps given below to restart a node.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the Data Fabric UI.
  2. Select the Fabric manager option.
  3. On the Global namespace card, click the table view icon.
